I wanted right here around the d’Annunzio MAS the beautiful exhibition by Claudio Koporossy with his “magnificent obsession” for water: captured with sophisticated machines and macro-photographs, it exalts its naturalness. Instead of being immobilized it gains life, momentum, it splashes, rejoices, runs, dances in countless forms, enhanced by colour and speed. Much of the series exhibited in the MAS museum at the Vittoriale has flowers: the different chromatic shades that give colour to the water come from the poignant shades of the underwater flowers. A tribute to the heroes of all wars, a bouquet of flowers or even a single flower emanating the poetry of a daring life not wasted, in the water. And the water welcomes it, a last refuge hatching a beauty that only Koporossy can capture.
